Whether we like it or not, AI is here and it's here to stay. At www.tommybolinofficial.com we will NOT be using AI to generate ‘FAKE’ images/videos of Tommy Bolin!

Personally, we use AI everyday for our general commercial work, it CAN be an amazing tool, particularly for editing purposes etc. We are NOT against AI in any way, but we ARE against the abuse of AI to create a false and fake narrative.

The problem that we see (apart from being beyond creepy and totally unethical) is that when fake images/videos are created, they SOMETIMES get passed of as “RARE” which is actually misleading. Unfortunately we have people actually believe these images to be REAL, and they get shared and then rapidly become part of the ‘accepted’ Tommy Bolin documented visual history. Some of the images we are already suffering with are laughable (but people STILL believe them to be REAL) – but some are actually quite close to looking like the REAL deal - therein lies a real danger... JUST BECAUSE WE CAN DOESN'T MEAN WE DO!
