DEEP PURPLE | LIVE AT THE GLASGOW APOLLO, GLASGOW, SCOTLAND | 14 MARCH 1976

This was Deep Purple Mark 4's 2nd to last concert, and despite the narrative that the whole UK leg of the tour was a complete disaster, there are moments of REAL excellence here – a band that (in part) seemed far from being on their “last legs”...

In saying that, there are moments where it doesn't ‘happen’, so... Let's take the positives as a blessing and accept the NOT SO POSITIVES for what they are... :) Honest and ‘warts and all’ :)

There has been previous audio of this gig, but this particular audio was sent to us by Bill, who recorded it with an accomplice back in the day... ON A PORTABLE SONY RECORDER ON A C-120 TAPE!!! Not too shabby for an audience recording. We've enhanced the versions on here (slightly), far from perfect, but happy with the perfect imperfection :)
